GBB's- While I am still able I wanted to update my cancer status. Latest biopsy showed cancer is still present. Plus I have been fighting RT. Lung pneumonia. Countless anti-biotic iv's MD's gave me the bad final status. I have lots to think about by Monday. Also today I had a 2nd AFIB in last 2 weeks. Both resolved with some Metroprol
IV's But issues are getting larger not smaller.

    Take Care,
    Greg

WHO IS SIGNING UP TO GO WATCH THE TOTAL SOLAR ECLIPSE GOING THROUGH OREGON, IDAHO, AND ON TO THE EAST. This is all happening on Aug 21 and will not be visible for us old farts in the future, like 75 year or so, I was thinking of a nice spot in a national forest because all campgrounds and other facilities are already full.

It is with great sadness and sorrow that I found out that Greg Horsefield has passed away last night in his sleep. He had developed pneumonia and his son Scott is taking care of his dogs and his place. He will be missed greatly. May he RIP. Time is passing by rather quickly lately. Hope you are all doing well.

RIP Gregh, lots of Westchester memories, over 50 years ago. Thanks for the call Steve, I'll look for a photo to post that's a small enough file size for our site. Happy fathers day to all GBBs. Very sad news.

Be careful when you get a transfusion. I heard they gave Greg the wrong blood type days before he passed.

Hey Guys, Time for a roll call. What's up with all the GBB's?

I had a partial cornea transplant about two weeks ago and the results were great. Need about 6 more weeks for full recovery. And we are soon (2-3 weeks) to be grandparents for the first time!

My twin Grand Daughters are 13 months. We Skype (video conference call) each week. They are getting to the real cute stage. Then I guess comes the terrible two's in a year or so.

Hey Joe, glad to hear the transplant went well. How many surgeries have you had now? It seems like a lot. I'm looking forward to seeing you guys at Al's house on 8/12. I'm trying to round up the usual suspects.

Hey Al, thanks again for everything you have done for us over the years. For those who are interested, here are the four best seasons in MLB history.
    1906 Cubs 116 wins in 154 games.
    2001 Mariners 116 wins in 162 games.
    1998 Yankees 114 wins in 162 games.
    1954 Indians 111 wins in 154 games.

Of these, only the '98 Yankees won the World Series.
